Over the past month we have been sharing bits and pieces of insights about the forming of linear time on Almine’s personal Facebook page. Today, for the first time, we share all of these insights combined. Great perspectives on subjects like identity, self-pity and polarity and their relationship to linear time. It is not the easiest of material, but absolutely worth reading and reflecting on to see if you can use these different points in your own journey to spiritual mastery.
“Something quite profound came into my awareness today. It is about the origin of time.
Time formed when peak experiences of rapture were held onto by the Infinite within Its Being. The entrapment of time keeps us in the circular cage of the past, present and future. This is a treadmill we must step off from, to remember our eternal self as the source of our unique expression. Identity forms from our accumulated story as we travel through time.
As we travel around and around in cycles of linear time, we create a history which we identify with. The history forms and shapes the body, soul and spirit as vehicles to contain these identities created by the experiences and memories accumulated as we travel through linear time.
Body, soul and spirit keep us on the treadmill of linear time by creating karma through deliberately obscuring vision. They are strengthened even though they are the result of the identities we accumulate through time, and are therefore an illusional creation by:
1) The fictitious belief in the law of compensation that creates karma.
2) The use of mind and limited senses as a way of accessing perception, thus allowing parts of existence to be obscured.
3) By creating the three parts of linear time that keep us repeating the same cycles of existence.
Adversity is the result of polarity – the flow of resources, back and forth between poles that have separated. The competitive and adversarial relationship between poles, create an inner war that manifests without.
Polarity is formed in the following way: We strive for certain results in order to control outcome in physicality. This creates the future. We then have an opposite and equal reaction from our soul. It looks backwards by clinging to the past with either sentimentality or self-pity.
The opposite desires and reaching, would form a vacuum, as soul and body pull apart. But spirit fills the gap (the gap between the present and the past is what the moment is). Spirit controls the now. It does so through value judgements kept in place by belief systems.
It is from the movement forward and backward that the reference point of the moment is formed. The reference point that tries to remain stationary. The movements into what is to come and what was, creates time. Where this movement and reference point take place, space is created.
The dynamics of the backward movement (feminine), the forward movement (masculine) and the stationary reference point, create the two overlapping fields found around the body of a highly evolved being and can also be seen in the Yin-Yang symbol.” ~ Almine

My work/job is so oriented around putting out fires and proactively avoiding them. That’s one part of it. The other part is getting pushed and prodded by the poor delusional individuals who believe that pushing and prodding others to push and prod customers is the only way grow income, not to mention that the only focus and goal is to grow income – nothing is ever enough. They think this is success, but to me it’s so sad and delusional. I find it interesting that I am presented with these situations daily, and that at least to some extent, I continue to get sucked in by the need to “keep those monkeys off my back.” Clearly the only answer is to surrender all need to control that and the idea that all chaos will ensue if i do surrender. This is a tough one, as when i imagine doing so, i see all those monkeys having fits and jumping all over me. However I just realized as I type this, that that vision itself is an act of going into the future. So I think what I’ve just learned is that if I stay in the moment, those unpleasant visions cannot and won’t exist. Ah..ha….

Nice to have you back Niels. Enjoy your coffee:)
I find going into the moment is the beginning of automatic living. It can be a bit scary at first because you don’t see anything beyond what is directly in front of you at the moment. But it is also nice because there is really no choice in the matter. You just follow the song of the Infinite…song of the cosmos. That takes you directly to the next unfoldment. It’s enjoyable once you’ve done it a few times.

What this says to me is that I should mind where my focus through the day is. Is it on the future? Or is it on the past?
It is not so much that I try very hard to be in the present moment, better yet it is a relaxing into what is before me now, without an idea of outcome in the future, nor a reflection to what that outcome should look like, based on the past. It is just doing what is before me, while relaxing into and focussing on the Infinite that might be recognized in that which is before me.
Oh well, just a thought. Time for coffee 🙂

Welcome back to the dialogues Niels ~ May the break have been nourishing and all things you needed!
That was a pretty sharp reflection pre-caffeine ~ 🙂
Thanks for phrasing it in that manner – your words are a gentle mantra for reciting as a reminder – and touches upon how the growing trend of “being in the now” can take their focus to a higher perspective ~ juicy!
