Breaking Free From The Tyranny Of Will – by The Seer (Part One)
The philosopher Arthur Schopenhauer, in discussing the endless striving nature of the will, said that “attainment soon begets satiety: … possession takes away the charm; the wish, the need, (which then) presents itself under a new form…”
In other words, the striving to achieve or increase never ends. As soon as our need to achieve is fulfilled, we want something else. Even in early childhood, this insatiable desire is present. The child always wants a new toy, which loses its charm as soon as he has it.
It has been said that the lack of global peace comes from the lack of the inner peace of individuals. The lack of inner peace comes from the inability of the will to cease its clamoring for more and of never being satisfied with what it has. If we desire inner peace, it is essential that we bring the center of the will (located two inches below the navel in the second chakra) into balance; into its cooperation with the heart and mind, rather than into its quest for dominance as the driving force that shapes our intent and runs our lives.
How To Govern The Second Chakra — The Center Of The Will:
The social learning of the worth of an individual being based on what that individual accomplishes begins in infancy. Proud parents dote on baby’s first smile, first word, and first steps. The message is sent that approval is based on what baby does rather than on who he or she is; rather than on the intrinsic value of the individual.

Very insightful. The desire for accomplishment and approval is ingrained in many of us.

How very true about the way parebts make a big deal about every perfectly normal physical achievement of their babies and todlers. Fortunately there are many who are equally curious to discover who this soul is who has chosen to share their lives, at this particular conjuncture.
But of course the will to ‘perform’ according to the shallow values of family and school is still predominant. Although more (affordable) alternative schools are necessary, the stimulus-reward triggers during the first three years are determining.

How very interesting! It turns out, the center of the will is the 2nd chakra and not the 3rd one. Certainly, It makes sense!

May the ceremony to remove our personal matrices be successful!
