Question: Before coming to you I read all of the Carlos Castaneda books. Which had, and continues to have a profound effect on my perspectives. But admittedly, I’ve had to do a lot of weeding out of those teachings. I ask if you find this quote from one of his books accurate: “A man of knowledge is free…he has no honor, no dignity, no family, no home, no country, but only life to be lived.” –Don Juan
The Seer: Honor and dignity has to be defined a specific way for the above quote to be accurate. Other than that, it is an accurate description of someone who has shed all personal identity.
