These tiny blossoms, lovingly picked for me from my garden by one of our Lightfamily members, remind me that inspiration can come from the little things.
I have a playful tradition I’ve made for myself that every autumn I would use whatever clothes I have in a new look and in a different way … a new fresh feel about the way I express myself. Yesterday my neighbor was having a yard sale of items they no longer wanted and she gave me a discarded scarf. This cotton floral scarf stirred something in me that has been waiting for expression and my “ New Look” for Autumn was born. I love the season and I wish my wonderful Lightfamily a very happy autumn day.
I love you so much,
Almine

I appreciate the inspiration you shared, Almine, for creating your new fall look.
It reminded me of what I was inspired to do with
a lovely scarf that was given to me on my
birthday. I donned a plain colored dress I’ve had
for some time and wrapped my new scarf around my
shoulders and voila..my dress came to life!
Happy Autumn🍁
Much love,
Kathleen

When Almine says “I love you so much.” You know it is real, because you feel it; there is not emptiness or false misguided feelings behind these five simple words. There is actual heartfelt love.

Thank you, I love when you share these kinds of special moments Almine…it is the little things that can save my day and elevate it and in the end bring me back to happy. I find scarves to be beautiful on both men and women…it tells me they took time for themselves to find a way to express beauty beyond the ordinary. 🙂

Almine just love the idea of reinventing and seeing ourselves in a different light. It’s similar to cooking where we can use the same ingredients differently.

Oh yes! I always wear a new, a gifted or an old scarf! Sometimes I simply wind a lovely piece of Liberty Lawn from my cloth chest of vintage off-cuts.
French chic is classically accented by scarves. When she’s visiting, our daughter (who is French and chic) often fingers through mine to find that ‘touche finale’ to her little black dress.
