Same day, earlier: we were suddenly hit by an Arctic cold front, but sunny. Garfy burst through the cat flap with a songbird in his mouth. We stampted our foot and it escaped, trying every window. So…we opened ALL the doors and windows, downstairs and upstairs. P’tit Oiseau of course settled on the sill of the one small window that doesn’t open. Eventually it was escorted out and flew blithely off. Leaving us with completely renewed fresh air in our house!
