Thank you Neils and Dhani! I do have iTunes, and when the clips posted have a download icon, I do that and play them in iTunes. So now I’ll follow Neils instructions. Have been recently trying out latest Chrome as my Firefox wasn’t able to get certain things ‘right’. Will now enable pop-ups for the moment and see; then update FlashGordon. My 50’s version may be beyond the pale 😉
Hello. Just a technical problem: I can never get any audio on the diary to play, not does it play for me on SoundCloud. Some have the possiblility of downloading it. Then only am I able to play it in iTune player. Any suggestions? Thanks!

Thank you for asking the question. The answer is going to get a little technical. Please note that the player works for most people. Some settings on your computer may be disabling it.
Here are the things you need to check:
1: Update your flash driver. Flash is a software program, freely available on the internet that makes a lot of interactive things on the internet work. However, the program that is installed on your computer needs to be updated every once in a while to be able to keep up with the new programming codes that are being put out on the internet. The sound cloud player needs a recent flash drive to be present on your computer to be able to function correctly.
2: Check your browsers pop-up settings. It may be blocking sound cloud, wrongly identifying it as an advertisement. Either turn off the pop-up blocker or allow sound cloud to be displayed.
3: Update your web browser itself. Some people are still working on very old web browsers (for example Internet Explorer version 6 or even older). These older web browsers don’t have the necessary equipment to read everything that is available to the modern day internet, including the sound could player.
Barbara, please connect with someone in your environment who is a bit savvy with computers to see if the above 3 points can be addressed. The problem is in the ‘displaying abilities’ of your computer and is not something that we can fix on this end.
