Thank you , Almine, for everything you have done for all of us and the planet, and continue to do so. I am sure you were divinely guided to include Brazil in your prayers in this silent retreat. For those that are not aware of the Zika virus, transmitted by the most common mosquito found here in Brazil, I will say that this is the first time the Brazilian government has declared this to be a National Health Emergency, the only other time being in 1918, during the Spanish flu outbreak. The Zika virus has shown to be very serious for pregnant women, causing major congenital deformities, including microcephaly, a condition whereby the fetus is born with a smaller skull, and therefore a smaller brain. This condition causes the child to be born retarded. There have also been reported even further horrific deformities. A government spokesperson has recently said that Brazil is being faced with a generation born of retarded children who will be abandoned in orphanages, with little or no chance of being adopted. Since November of 2015, there are already over 4,000 documented cases of children being born with microcephaly!! I live here in Brazil. I will be connected with all of you in the silent retreat in my meditations. Bless you, once again, Almine.
