The Seer interprets a dream of a young woman who was date raped…
About ten years ago The Seer commented that she noticed that 4 out of 10 men in her classes had been raped and approximately 6 out of 10 women. These numbers had gone up, and just prior to retiring she noted that about 8 out of 10 women had been raped.
A young woman‘s dream:
I had a horrible dream that felt too real. I was in a big city like NYC visiting a guy friend who was staying at a very old university. Everything was old and beautiful and had stained glass windows and grandfather clocks and stunning carved wood. Once I slipped inside, all of the street noise washed away and I could hear a lecture taking place in a room next to the lobby I was in. The guy I was meeting met me there and we were so happy. He was convinced that he was going to leave the university and pursue his dream of being a singer. He felt trapped at that university like he couldn’t leave for reasons I didn’t understand, but as a “screw you, I can leave and I will” he started singing and his voice carried down the halls for the other students to hear. He had a great voice but it caught the attention of the men running the place and they were furious (they have anger against authentic male expression. If one man starts to express his feminine side, others may too. This makes the “old school” men scared that there won’t be men who would want to fight their wars). They stormed into the lobby and grabbed both of us. They didn’t do anything to him, but one of them did something horrible to me. He was a large man and overpowered me onto the floor and raped me. I remember trying every way to get away but I couldn’t and everyone just watched. When he was done, they all left us. At some point, I remember another man pulling out a gun and raised it to the raper’s head but slowly turned it on me. I thought he would help me. I said, “Please don’t”. My guy friend and I left and started wandering the city streets (feeling confused about the expected roles of men and women) looking for a bathroom or a shower for me. It was a horrible experience.
The Seer’s Interpretation:
Men are trapped by age-old belief systems (an old building) of how men should behave “to be a man”. To behave contrary to how they are taught (the lecture) and express their authentic feminine side means they will be ostracized from the tribe of men; they won’t be allowed to be part of the social group of men. “Chased out of the building” – your dream is saying that in big city life, the distorted way men have to behave to prove they’re men means that they abuse women and other men who express their feminine side. In other words, city men are even less authentic in how they express their true selves and more abusive to women. Men are taught to be “conquerors” and to dominate. In the country, they hunt and fish and feel like a manly provider, but in cities, they don’t have that outlet, and so they “conquer” women like trophies. The social conditioning of men by the “tribe of old-school, programmed men” is so strong, that they won’t take a women’s side against a man (they watched instead of defending a woman being raped). This inclination of even a good friend, to unfairly take another man’s side against his female friend, is a source of pain for many women (the gun in the dream became directed at you instead of defending you). The search for a shower means you need to let go of your self-blame that the rape of you happened as a result of your fault; because of something you did.

Oh my……thank you for sharing this dream. It feels so real even as I read it.
May our work in bringing about the marriage of the Masculine and Feminine assist in abating this aggressive behaviour of males.

Just to clarify what Vanessa wrote about a murderer man “sitting in her chair”, she is referring to someone whose hair she cut in a barber shop.
