So fascinating. My precious kittycat had to have an unexpected surgery this week, he is very young but has some genetic problems with his kidneys that are likely to be fatal at a young age. I’ve been exploring deeply this week why so many cats have kidney issues (beyond the dietary factors), and how it is related to animals as a mirror of humanity in their current state. But what my comment is actually about is the anaesthetic part – we did not know this surgery was needed and so I didn’t have time to prepare my kitty, it was deeply painful to witness his incredible confusion upon waking up and discovering bits of his body had been removed (6 teeth) and he had no idea what had happened during the time he was “out” – it struck me that there is huge mystery within this that is related to humanity’s current plight, and it’s taken up my entire week so far contemplating on it.
