If continue about rose I do love tea but my favourite is jam from rose petals
We often float rose petals in a glass pitcher of water from our spring. After a couple of hours it has infused with a lovely subtle fragrance. Sometimes we add a few strawberries.
We also infuse rose petals, a slice of lemon and a spoonful of organic blond sugar in local white wine, for a few days. Served cooled by dropping a few frozen strawberries into each glass.

I have beautiful white fragrant roses that I treasure… I feel so lucky when they bloom. They bring any one that passes by them, a linger, a bend, and a deep “eyes-closed” wiff. 🙂
