Dhani, from British Columbia writes to us about Almine’s photos on our online course, Saradesi: The Fountain of Youth. Here Almine shares her wisdom in audio presentations accompanied by her deeply-moving photographs. Some photographs have been enhanced with color only, to allow the viewer to experience the sense of omnisensory perception that Almine possesses.
Question: “In Almine’s photos for the audio/photo presentation of Saradesi course, I can see the bushes and trees shimmering. Water moving, flower petals starting to curl inwards. Have you added special effects or has my vision and awareness expanded? I would just like a confirmation for the obvious answer.”
Answer: “Thank you for the opportunity to answer this question. I delight in taking my photos! They are taken as portals into omnisensory perception; to feel, taste, smell, hear and see the depths of life through them. I may want to take a photo but if it is not the ‘correct one,’ I will feel nauseated and will not take that photo. I am guided by the Infinite to take only certain photos. Those are the photos that I share with you on our online courses and here on my diary. As you experience the depths of the photos, you are tapping into omnisensory perception.
This can be practiced in daily life by practicing silence and slowing down to feel the spaces between the words,* taking the time to appreciate life deeply.”
