I stand vertical in the midday sun
A gentle meadow of mid green deep beneath my feet
Upright as I am I know
That the languid horizontal is every bit as much the making of me
As for the spaces open in between
The lilting kissing breeze joining my hands and knees
The rolling trilling bird song pushing my throat to overflow
The rushing stream courting and broadcasting the dreams of its still-silent rock bed
The nectar of many flowers oozing through my poreless skin
Make a generous restful scene held in sync by a signature tune
When I consider it all
I am very round
